**Club Fandango's RISING night supported by Music Week & BBC Wales Horizons takes place on Thurs 3rd July**
**The People The Poet are joined by Straight Lines, Joseph Hallows & Blackfoot Circle**
THE PEOPLE THE POET (onstage10.30pm) are from South Wales. Their highly anticipated debut album 'The Narrator' was released in Nov last year.
‘The Narrator’ is written entirely around personal life stories sent into the band by their fans.replica U boat These stories cover a wide spectrum of experiences and emotions, through the joy of fatherhood (Stabilisers (I Will Be)) to the pain of losing a parent (Nobody Else Like You - featuring a guest vocal from legendary British singer/songwriter Francis Dunnery).
The band have recently been supporting Deaf Havana throughout April on their UK tour.
STRAIGHT LINES (onstage 9.40pm) are from Pontypridd, Wales. Designer Cheap Watches UK Their DIY ethos lead them to record, master and mix their first two albums completely independently. With a multitude of festival appearances (SXSW / Download) and high profile support slots (Motorhead / Kids In Glass Houses under their belt, this intimate show will be very special indeed.
JOSEPH HALLOWS (onstage 8.50pm) is a man of mystery and could be a pleasant surprise.
BLACKFOOT CIRCLE (onstage 8.00pm) is a melodic, Rock/Pop band with a splash of Punk.
The band formed in 2012 in Portsmouth, England. Soon after their formation they entered Hard Rock Cafe's UK "Hard Rock Calling" competition which they won, earning great praise from judges -Absolute Radio boss James Curran & Live Nation's Jemma Downey. This opportunity earned Blackfoot Circle a reputation as a band on the rise.
The live shows pulse with an excitement and energy reminiscent of great British bands from the past, as they leave venues bouncing in their wake. During their stay, the band played multiple shows in Tampa FL, Nashville TN and Memphis TN, where they also recorded at the legendary Sun Studio. Another highlight for Blackfoot Circle was playing at the Isle Of Wight Festival 2013.
