Leyli began writing songs in her sleepy Quebecois village with a fondness for discord, a misunderstanding of arrangement and a voice someone would later describe to be like chocolate eclairs. She escaped to London to meet her long lost drumming brother Dimitri. Along with keyboardist Max they make organ-tinged gloomy rock.
