TUESDAY JUNE 26TH 2018
HACKNEY SEBRIGHT ARMS
(31-35 Coate Street, London E2 9AG)
485C (onstage 9.50pm) are five roustabouts from East London who stand out as a genuine let’s-do-the-show-right-here-gang armed with youthful cheekbones and a cheekily ragged demeanour. Some people have said that '485C's exuberant whirl of anxious guitars and louche vocals sounds a little bit like The Strokes stroking The Family Cat. Good.
PLEASURE COMPLEX (onstage 9.00pm) have been described as "an art-pop explosion" by Gigwise. London's finest Hard-Pop group have been electrifying audiences with their live show and a ferociously lively sound, as evinced by the video for 'Out Of Context' which you can see at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O4xHY2smUtc
JEKYLL (onstage 8.15pm) are four Blackpool rockers who released their 'Plan A' single on fierce panda on June 22nd. Think angsty guitar-throttling passion along the heady lines of Radiohead and Editors.
