* THE NIGHT WITH NO NAME RETURNS TO THE VICTORIA ON 06.11.19! *
* LES FLAIR + APOLLO JUNCTION + F4CADE BRING THE POP FLAIR! *

The roustabouts behind the fierce panda, Club Fandango and Disorder live eventings return once again for their monthly extravaganza at The Victoria as they front up in the secret back room (clue: it’s behind the bookcase) in creaky old Dalston. Wednesday November 6th is the date for melody huggers everywhere as electrokids Les Flair, epic alt.rocksters Apollo Junction and artful dreamers F4CADE bring the poise.

The Night With No Name launched in the summer and already the likes of Italia 90, Al Moses, Football FC, Skint & Demoralised, Albert Gold, Mice On Mars and MEMES have brought the rowdy post- and indeed poet-punk sensibilities. The fourth Night With No Name brings a wee bit of a gear change as we head down the epic pop boulevard like this:

LES FLAIR (onstage 9.45pm)
Les Flair’s singer Lyron started out in a post-punk band when she met Berlin-born multi-instrumentalist Kai Marks. Together they decided to create a project combining their influences and creative ideas. Big basses, dark synths and an intense light show - that is Les Flair. Without having released a thing they recently sold out the legendary Old Blue Last. First single ’Fence' is their take on a dark indie ballad, with ‘80s sounds and modern textures. ’Fence’ is about the inevitable end of the affair when you are not yourself anymore…the realisation and sadness of growing up while being in a relationship and becoming an adult with different interests.

APOLLO JUNCTION (onstage 9.00pm)
Apollo Junction’s songs capture the euphoria of music mixing strong guitar hooks, driving bass and passionate vocals. From New Order through Giorgio Moroder, to The Cure, The Charlatans and Daft Punk, the Leeds five piece use their influences to write insanely memorable, hugely uplifting tunes as evinced by their ‘Mystery’ album which is out now.

F4ÇADE (onstage 8.15pm)
What can be safely assumed is that F4ÇADE is a fortification constructed around a tussle of artpop teenagers fronted by a singer called Angel. They have been sighted scampering the streets of London at night, whispering in strange tongues and drawing in the curious with elegant dances and countenances bejewelled with glitter…
Selected by Nile Rodgers to play at his Meltdown Festival in August, their debut ‘Sand’ single has been described as: "Bright, artful and ever so slightly out there…a gloopy lounge pop song that shivers with reverb guitars, tumbling with triple tracked vocals that drip down the glass like entwined droplets amidst snaking bass lines. Quite entrancing."
