We've teamed up with Oxfordian promotions team-du-jour PinDrop Performances to bring the best bands of Oxford's ever thriving music scene to the capitol... Having previously brought to Oxford such legends as CocoRosie, Patti Smith, Silver Mt Zion, Hauchka, Davy Graham as well as championing such rising/risen Oxon stars as Trophy Wife, Stornoway, Spring Offensive and Chad Valley PinDrop are well positioned to bring the very best of up and coming talent in Oxford to the big smoke. The Best of Oxford will take place at the Buffalo Bar last Tuesday of the month...

SECRET RIVALS - 10.00pm
A four-piece indie pop band based in Oxford. Musically influenced by the sharp edges of The Cribs, Idlewild, Pixies and The Wedding Present, their songs have been described by Steve Lamacq as "sweetly-stabbing singy-shouty pop nuggets."

DEER CHICAGO - 09.15pm
Hail from Ocford, combine post-rock shimmering guitars with blustery vocals and an turbulent but uplifting rhythm section. They explore the transition between soft and loud, focusing on tension created with build-ups and peaks of melodic plateau.
