September 19th sees the third in a series of monthly co-promotions between fierce panda records and The Most Radicalist Black Sheep Music, aka TMR Black Sheep, the in-house arm of ad agency Bartle Bogle Hegarty, aka BBH. "Music is right at the heart of the culture at BBH," they say. "For us 'Shear Me Now!' is a way to extend what we do every day - we want to put ourselves out there to get even more involved with finding and working with new musicians and bands. We're really excited to be working on this brilliant night with fierce panda."

The first two 'Shear Me Now!' events in July and August brought forth sets by the likes of Cave Painting, The Crookes and Hall Of Mirrors, while September's songs will sound something like this:

BEBE BLACK - 10.00pm
A 24 year old singer songwriter and ex-fashion student from Dorset who looks like she's just stepped off the set for 'This Is England'. Radio fans may well have clocked her guest vocal stint on Benga's 'Icon' hit but Bebe's imminent debut album on Columbia, a "whirlwind of sex, independence, honesty and darkness" (the album, not the label. Although to be fair that was some record company christmas party...), takes in everything from drum'n'bass to Kate Bush to shiny pop, albeit shiny pop with a fretful, seedy undercurrent. As you may expect from someone who namechecks Siouxsie Sioux and Bow Wow Wow.

HOODLUMS - 09.15pm
A bunch of strutful roustabouts who've spent the past year touring the release of three tub-thumping independent singles, culminating in ecstatically-received supports slots with Keane at Brixton Academy. We think watching Hoodlums' exuberantly ragged live hoedown is like clocking a particularly fragrant episode of 'Top Of The Pop's from 1982, but the proof is in the pudding and that pudding is a debut album which they finished recording in London last month and which Dave Eringa (Manics, Idlewild) is mixing even as we type.

FAMY - 08.30pm
Three English boys and one Italian boy who grew up in the South of France. They have spent the last few months working on their debut album. It's the follow-up to last year's fantastic 'Dogg Dogg' single on Fifi Records that featured a contribution from Evans Kati of Wu Lyf. Their sound is warm, bold and delicate.
