One of the UK's best new music sites/record labels - Killing Moon Limited - brings you this brand-spanking new live series showcasing the most up-and-coming bands at the Bull & Gate in Kentish Town on the last Wednesday of the month and the next one is on Feb 28! Previous nights saw Blackeye, Hold Kiss Kill, Story Books and Tyrannasaurus Dead making our weeks, nay months!

NEW IVORY - 10:15pm

New Ivory is at three -piece band hailing from London (UK). They’re made up of Mickey (vocals, lead guitar), Alessandro (bass) and Andy (drums). The band formed in 2008 and played several gigs across Europe. In 2010, they recorded their first EP which gaining critical success and helped the band get signed to Dim Mak Records. They’ve just hit the studio to record their first complete album with Joe Marlett (Blink 182, Foo Fighters) which is going to be released in Summer 2012. New Ivory is from remote parts unknown to the soul, from past to present sounds of distorted countenance, reflected from thoughts and emotions.

KILL VAN KULLS - 9:30pm

A shy and retiring five-piece "with a mighty good shout at doing something magical in 2012" who have been described as "early Killers on steroids - sweeping, cinematic, cavernous indie-rock with more hooks than a fishermans convention and melodies that have stadium stamped all over them." - The Devil Has The Best Tuna. Killing Moon Limited themselves described their latest single 'Bullingdon Club' (out 26.03.12) as '"the resultant concoction constituted by Maccabees, Sound Of Guns-style epicness, and some vocal collision between The Datsuns and Les Incompetents, track of the day".
