Described as "a match made in musical heaven" by Dan Cairns (Sunday Times Culture), Skint & Demoralised's sound fuses Matt Abbott's poetry with an abundance of catchy melodies and hooks, with influences ranging from The Smiths and Billy Bragg to Johnny Cash and The Pogues. Lyrically, he tells ...tales of love and life as he sees it – the painstakingly honest diary of a young bloke, with his heart on his sleeve and tongue tucked firmly in his cheek. The band will be releasing their second album 'This Sporting Life' through Heist Or Hit Records on 2nd August. As part of a 2CD Bonus Edition, their previously unreleased debut 'Love, And Other Catastrophes' will also be included. Both albums are available for download now.

This special lowkey slot sees another airing of their heartily welcomed self-released 'Goodbye Falkenburg' album and sets the band up for further super furry fun in 2011 (formerly known as Radio Luxembourg) are a Welsh psychedelic pop group who formed in Aberystwyth, Wales in 2005.
