Rejoice once a'blooming again, indie cats - HAVOC numero 10 is heading your way on Tuesday March 14th. Brought to you by the Milk-sopping supremos behind fierce panda, Club Fandango and Disorder promotions, HAVOC takes place on the second Tuesday of each and every month and shines a light on three sparkling new acts in a dark back room at the vamp-ish Victoria pub.

Tonight is an even more special affair because it is the launch night for 'fierce panda: singles 16', the brrrrand new digital compilation which hauls together the last 12 singles club releases from the intrepid panda label. 'fierce panda: singles 16' is released on March 17th and includes dynamite pop surprises from both Park Hotel and 485C, like this...

PARK HOTEL (onstage 9.45pm) are a post-electronic dance band based in London. Tonight they launch 'Gone As A Friend', their frankly terrific debut, which also appears on the ˜fierce panda: singles 16' compilation. Live the Park Hotel metropolitan disco-rock studio incarnation expands into a steamroller six piece neo-funk band, featuring three-way vocal harmonies, two guitars, drums, percussion, keyboards and ample cowbell. We think this is like some joyfully communal face-off between LCD Soundsystem and Earth, Wind & Fire with flashes of Steely Dan and even It's Immaterial, and by gum we're not wrong. www.facebook.com/parkhotelband

485C (onstage 9.00pm) are five roustabouts from the far, far eastern end of the Central Line who stand out as a genuine let's-do-the-show-right-here-gang armed with teenage cheekbones and a cheekily ragged demeanour. Their current 'Strange Medicine' single has a clangingly canny resemblance to The Strokes being rewritten by Mungo Jerry and has seen 485C played numerous times on BBC 6 Music. The first 485C single 'She'll Lie', released last year, is their contribution to the 'fierce panda: singles 16' compilation opus. www.facebook.com/485Cband

GHOST SUNS (onstage 8.15pm) are a boy / girl electropop duo living in London Town. Theirs is a determinedly DIY live set-up which sonically harks back to the synth-ful halcyon ‘80s days of ZTT and Mute. In spite of this only being their third ever live show tonight is a launch party for their excellent new single 'Cheers To Poison', out on fierce panda right now. Ghost Suns don't actually make an appearance on ˜fierce panda: singles 16' but by some berserk coincidence they did appear on the previous ˜fierce panda: singles 15' compilation last year, which is good enough for us. www.facebook.com/ghostsuns
