It's spring, there is a hint of sun and it's the second Tuesday of the month and that can only mean one thing - fierce panda records and Disorder promotions are ready to rejoin forces, and perhaps fur-ces, at The Shacklewell Arms to entertain the music loving public with yet another bill of thrilling indie pop joys, like this:

WOODPIGEON (onstage at 10pm) are an independent rock collective originally founded in Calgary, Alberta, led by and performing the songs of Mark Andrew Hamilton. To date, Woodpigeon have released four studio albums, the most recent ‘Thumbtacks + Glue’ via birthday animal Fierce Panda, as well number of EPs to critical acclaim, and Hamilton has worked with over 70 collaborators both on record and in live performance. Live, Woodpigeon (Mark Andrew Hamilton) on occasion plays with a backing band but for this very special intimate show to celebrate 20 years of Fierce Panda Mark will be performing solo incorporating loops and layered vocals. Woodpigeon's sound has been compared to Sufjan Stevens, Grizzly Bear, Camera Obscura, Simon & Garfunkel, and Belle & Sebastian, amongst others.

THE ART OF AMPUTATION (on stage at 8.30pm) rise from the ashes of many past musical endeavours and they rise much higher and better than ever before. Influenced by the likes of The National, Beach House, The Walkmen and Wild Beasts this new London based quartet and ready to take London's live scene by storm, check them out now in some nice intimate settings while you can.
