Helsinki : Ostensibly the pet project of Drew McConnell, bass player in Babyshambles, Helsinki is a free-flowing collection of musicians instinctively creating a lovely organic gumbo of semi-acoustic rattlings with a subtle but thoroughly dignified pop sensibility. Drew McConnell’s Helsinki’s ‘Rising Heights’ single is out on fierce panda on February 23rd, with the ‘A Guide For The Perplexed’ following on March 2nd.
