Delta Mainline
Delta Mainline are a seven-piece alternative band based in Edinburgh, Scotland. Their alternative sound can be described as soulful, captivating and cinematic. Spacey and psychedelic at times, yet always pleasing and accessible. While great indie bands are often a stones throw in any direction, exceptional bands are few and far between, this is one of the exceptional bands.
DELTA MAINLINE GIGS AT CLUB FANDANGO
In early 2012 the band were asked to contribute a recording to feature on 'US[THEM]' - a release by Canadian label Halcyon Records celebrating the work of Pink Floyd. 'Green is the Colour' was recorded at the band's Mainline HQ.
Meanwhile, 2011/2012 saw Delta Mainline take exile in Chem19 Studios (near Glasgow) to record their debut album. These sessions were engineered and co-produced by Davey McAulay (Mogwai, Mike Heron, Remember Remember). This album will be released in Spring 2013 through Rehab Sound (UK) and Halcyon Records (Canada) to coincide with a UK tour and select European dates.
