Honour Amongst Thieves
Honour Amongst Thieves started jamming together when they were both in a punk band, the guitarist and drummer were both smokers so when they went out for a cigarette they'd have some time to play a few of their favourite songs. The band fell apart so the duo started getting together and playing acoustic sets of covers under different names for every gig, eventually getting some of their own songs down under the name of The Why Bird Stop, after the bus stop of 'Playdays' fame. They now have upwards of 30 songs and have changed the name to 'Honour Amongst Thieves' because... well... it sounds better! In February 2012 Paul Day and George Hirst joined on bass and drums respectively, this brought their sound up to what they had invisaged while originally writing songs.
