Georgia Ruth
Georgia Ruth is a singer and harpist who became accustomed to sea mists and strange sounds while growing-up in west Wales. She has performed her hybrid of dusty folk and blues at Green Man Festival and at HMV’s Next Big Thing, she has opened shows for artists such as Damien Jurado, Sweet Billy Pilgrim and Seth Lakeman. Now, aged 23, she presents a new and original collection of songs. Recorded and produced by David Wrench (Euros Childs, Zun Zun Egui) in the winter stillness of Snowdonia’s Bryn Derwen Studios, the ‘In Luna’ EP is / was released on 10" vinyl on 20th February 2012 (Gwymon Records).
