Being There create fresh sounding, lo-fi pop by combining the sounds of Teenage Fanclub and The Vaselines with the astute, yet youthful lyricism of Belle and Sebastian and Silver Jews; they were picked up for their debut by Richard Formby, a producer internationally acclaimed for his work on the Mercury Nominated record 'Two Dancers' by Wild Beasts. Being There are now are set to become the genuine British answer to the recent wave of American indie bands.
