Jamie And The Portraits
Jamie And The Portraits are an Indie Pop band from Kent making waves and turning heads with their catchy, bubbling melodies and polyphonic drum layers! At times the lyrics are indecipherable: a rambling selection of non-sequiturs as best demonstrated in "St. Christopher" against an alluring, quasi-Renaissance accompaniment. The song features, among other things, the eponymous saint and his wife being invited to a feast, a desire to "replicate forgotten memories" and a claim that unspecified substances will "make you mind expand".
