Turnpike Glow
Turnpike Glow started life in Rome as aspiring young hopefuls in a scene marginalised by Italian pop and insider trading. But with their Beta Band-Flaming Lips inspired sound they soon found themselves supporting acts like Cooper Temple Clause, The Futureheads, The Others and The Constantines. In 2007 they started flying over to do live shows in London, Leeds, Liverpool and Manchester. It soon became clear that the UK was where the band could find a receptive audience and so the songwriting core of the band, Sandro (vocals/guitar) and Giuseppe (vocals/bass/keyboards), moved to London armed with just their guitars and lots of European plug adaptors. One rainy Sunday they bumped into Anthony and James busking on the tube in giant sombreros. They talked, they laughed and eventually, they joined forces…

Here's their debut EP 'Inflatable Optimism' for you to enjoy here.
