Seerauber Jenny
is hard to find and even harder to define. What we do know is that the Seerauber Jenny plot revolves around the shoegaze-tinted acoustic songs of one Fran Barker and the electronic trickery of Mint Royale’s Neil Claxton and that together they make music which is clever and considered and sweet and cynical and synthy and, y’know, generally ace enough to cause ruffles in the A&R lake of tranquillity and warrant a Label Fandango single, called ‘Push It Away’, in mid-July.
