The Rollison Affair
The Rollison Affair are a London based 4-piece who formed in 2005 out of a collective desire to break out of nine to five anonymity, stop dreaming and make things happen. Their musical roots can be traced to the lineage of eccentric British pop from the late '60s to early '80s including The Kinks, Stranglers and early Cure, all juxtaposed against the musical sophistication of Pavement and the art punk sensibilities of ‚Äö?Ñ????ë??Chairs Missing‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬• era Wire and 'Hex Enducation' Fall. With a string of high octane live performances and a well received demo EP under their belt, The Rollison Affair‚Äö?Ñ????ë?¬•s distinctive brand of energetic and hook laden art pop seems set to gain them further attention, marking them out as ones to watch.
