Degrassi
Degrassi are Edinburgh-based and have two Peel sessions, three T In The Park performances and two EPs under their belts. Their current line-up came together in 2002 with the addition of erstwhile Idlewild bassist Bob Fairfoull. Radio 1's Vic Galloway says: "think of Idlewild's hooks, Mogwai's post-rock soundscapes and New Order's timing and synchronisation and you're approaching where the band are now coming from. Tremendous stuff."
