Deer Park
Deer Park is an Anglo-Irish indie folk band with its roots across the water in the darker reaches of Americana and classic rock. Their debut album has earned comparisons with The Hold Steady, early Springsteen, The Pogues and Bright Eyes and takes its narrative cues from Cormac McCarthy, John Steinbeck and Elmore Leonard. Their tales are of original sin, evasive redemption and eternal damnation, made hazy by drink and drugs, all set to the sound of scruffy guitars and a driving rhythm section.
