Hey Zeus
Hey Zeus are four students at Manchester University who write and
rehearse in a basement in the city's leafy suburbs. Not even into
double figures gig-wise their 'high energy spiky pop' (Manchester
Evening News) which has been lauded as 'assured, rhythmic and
understated' (High Voltage) has been making waves across Manchester
resulting in them opening up at the MEN Arena in front of 16,000
people in support of The Happy Mondays and Snow Patrol. Lead singer
Jonah used to be in successful London band The Svengalis who in their
short, explosive existence toured with Cajun Dance Party and recorded
a session for Steve Lamacq.
