John Gibbons / Folk Soul Brother began his professional singing career as a backing vocalist for Luther Vandross and Diana Ross, and he’s worked with many other high profile artists since, including Tori Amos, Yusuf Islam, Joe Cocker, Chaka Khan and Razorlight.

Drawing on this experience he teamed up with guitarist / producer Raoul Brand and together they have written and produced songs for John’s debut album 'I've Been There Too'.
