Katalina Kicks were born recently from members of other bands. It’s late 2008: Ian George (frontman from US signed band Kyro) was involved in a solo project having just achieved Top 30 European chart success, when he met guitarist Branko Stefanovic and decided to start something new. The word spread from their Shepherds Bush HQ and Olly Taylor, the original drummer from MCA signed band Fiction Plane and J Creswell from indie rockers Bear Knuckles jumped on board. Katalina Kicks was born. Their powerful alt / rock sound developed rapidly and they are currently recording their debut album in London's Air Edel studios. Their debut single is due for release in October.
