Straylings
Straylings were formed by Bahraini/Austrian songwriter Dana Zeera and ex-Veils guitarist Oliver Drake in 2007. Swirling, ‘Crazy Horse’-esque guitars sit alongside rolling, restless sounds reminiscent of ‘The Pixies’ and ‘Mazzy Star’. Having received interest from a number of producers, Straylings have recently finished recording with Julian Simmons (Midlake, Guillemots) and are about to release their debut EP with Things To Make & Do Records/PIAS. Nice, in several ways.
