Anita Maj is a singer, songwriter and rock diva. She has been putting pen to paper and pick to guitar since her early teens and her tunes, inspired by early legends of rock such as Janis Joplin and Jimi Hendrix, as well as modern bands such as Kings of Leon and the Crash Kings. The South London-based, Northern born artist has a “great voice” according to The Independent’s Simon Price and along with her dynamic band are much in demand following residencies both north and south of the river at Water Rats and New Cross Inn, and at creative gatherings such as the 30,000 strong Peoples Day Festival. With her debut single release 'Out of Control' on March 25th and debut album o be released in June, produced by Dan Swift (Snow Patrol, Biffy Clyro, Kasabian) and Junk Scientist (Larrikin Love, The Rakes) and a UK Tour to boot, it’s all happening.
