Cassie & The Cassettes met on suburban school buses in the halcyon days of early adolescence; innocent times when hair was longer, jeans were baggier and nobody suspected Michael Jackson of anything untoward. Cassie spent her formative adolescent years spinning out electric piano masterpieces in the safety of her own bedroom, initially never intending them for public consumption. However, when Justin Timberlake began his sad descent down the slippery slope with ‘Sexy Back’, Cassie realised that music fans everywhere needed her and stepped up into the breach. She recruited Nick Pile (Drums), Tom Cutts (Bass), Tom Varrall (Guitar) and Jack Almy (Keyboards); a squad of the finest musicians downtown Twickenham had to offer and already a rowdy bunch of old friends.
