Bobbing For Apples
Bobbing For Apples has been writing music since she was very small, eventually going on to form a band at uni which had 'a modicum of success locally' (Reading). After the band split in 2002, Ms Bobbing For Apples moved to London and put her four track to good use. 'I love listening to songs that make me go all warm and fuzzy inside... songs that make me want to cry... or love... or feel something other than what is around me. Songwriters that do that for me are Elliott Smith, Ben Folds, Lennon & McCartney, Kathryn Williams, Gillian Welch and new dicoveries Sondre Lerche, Smog and Howie Beck. If I can write and perform songs in a ball park near theirs I'll be a very happy girl.'
