Yves Klein Blue
Yves Klein Blue play a clashy blend of classic pop, old punk, indie rock, gypsy jazz, '70s glam and rock music of all eras. Michael and Charles founded the group, then brought Chris and Sean on board and formed what was briefly named 'Exploding Heads'. The name was soon changed to Yves Klein Blue, after the patented medium IKB (International Klein Blue), a colour invented by French artist Yves Klein that famously looks the same dry as it does wet. The band are based in Brisbane, Australia, and have shared the stage with Ben Kweller, You Am I, The Grates, The Presets, Operator Please, Wolf and Cub, I Heart Hiroshima, and The Presets to name but a few.
