James Owen Fender
James Owen Fender is a solo artist, song writer and producer from Leeds. His debut single The Cloud was released through Plumpton Presents Records on October 4th. The Cloud received airplay from Radio 1, XFM and heavy rotation on amazingradio.com.
Following this, Fender was invited to record a session at BBC Maida Vale by Rob Da Bank which was broadcast on Radio 1 on October 2nd. He has been championed by Feargal Sharkey, Steve Lamacq, Jon Hillcock, Jim Gellatly and Gill Mills at the best of myspace and was also profiled in Music Week as one to watch. The Cloud received an 8/10 review in ROCK SOUND magazine and online reviews have been very positive
