Kunta Kinte
Kunta Kinte are a tribal pop band. Kunta Kinte are a riot of chanting backing vocals, facepaint and Victorian-inspired finery. Featured twice in Record of the Day, which said "they look and sound like nothing we have seen in recent times"; Kunta Kinte have been described by Music Week as "brilliant - packed with pop hits and charisma and fielding two drummers". The band are co-creators of New Vaudeville night White Mischief, which combines live bands with wild magic and cabaret, was labelled a "joy" by Playlouder and voted club of the week by The Times for its most recent sold-out show.
