Buttonhead
Buttonhead began in mid 2005 when founding member Ross Blake was invited to perform a string of gigs Belgium with drumming Flemish drum maestro Jereon Stevens (of 'I Love Sarah') and guitarist Geert Dignef. However, this collaboration did not go on for long before geographical complications got the better of it. 2006 has seen the arrival of an entirely new set of London-based musicians to fill the various rolls required for the full line up. The name is taken from years of recorded childhood ramblings, as are a few of the songs. The genre is intended to be marginal and ever-shifting, with lyrics inspired by car boot sales, psychotic woodland people, long-diseased corgis and unsung pagan shakers.
