Mixing a wide variety of influences from The Doors, The Beach Boys, and Eels, to Gomez, The Black Keys and Beck, the band's ethos revolves around quality hook-laden songs, mixed with uplifting harmonies and the tightest, grooviest rhythm section. forming in early 2005, The Wonderfuls have just won the ‚Äö?Ñ??Best Unsigned Band Award‚Äö?Ñ?¥ at this year's BT Digital Music Awards, crammed in over 150 gigs across the south, have been championed by Mark Lamarr and Dermot O‚Äö?Ñ?¥Leary on their BBC Radio 2 shows, as well as receiving airplay on Xfm, BBC Southern Counties Radio, Southern FM and Brighton's Juice FM, along with a mention in the NME's 'New Band Radar' section! A Highlight of 2006 was their slot at the Budweiser K Festival sharing the main stage with Athlete and Goldie Lookin' Chain.
