The Rivers
The Rivers are the sound of inner city life channelled through the lifeblood of the English coast. Fresh out of the blocks from Brighton and armed with a workers ethic, these five young diamonds have surfaced out of the pastel seaside glamour of their hometown, carving themselves deep into the souls of the South East, breaking their backs to bring home-grown anthems such as 'Honest Man', 'The Skint Song' and 'Paper Bones' to the big smokes. Off the back of local and national support slots with The Kooks, Morning Runner, Maximo Park,The Others, The Paddingtons, Larrikin Love and Young Knives, The Rivers threw themselves back onto the road for the rest of 2006 across the length and breadth of the UK including further supports with the likes of White Rose Movement, Good Books and Seafood.
