right, this love-lost three found each other humming dirty Jackie Wilson and Sonics 45s down by the riverbank. Imagine '50s street corner harmonies colliding headlong with a tricked out hot-rod. All crashing cymbals with a clutch bag of distortion and high heels in tow. This knockout trio of fuzzed up, doo-wop sweethearts kick out bluesy duets of heartache and jealousy. Their only male studies the vocal arts of Bobby Bland, their teenage siren takes drumming lessons from Detroit's finest while the magic number is made up by a sugary voice so sweet she'll rot your teeth. Live, they throb to an undercurrent of the siren's kick-drum while the remaining two light up the stage with their high voltage chemistry. Belt up and hang on tight.
