Charlie Brown were all keen musicians at Holbrook High School and played together in various school groups before coming together in the summer of 2004 to play some songs that Becky had been writing. Their first gig was in December at the Premier Pool Club and since then they have had a string of successful performances at The Twist, The Colchester Arts Centre and The Steamboat. Since their first outing the band have been performing songs that are a collaboration of eclectic musical styles. These include a mix of jazzy piano, driving rock bass and drums, and above all catchy songs. Their live performances are full-on high energy affairs. Fandango was so impressed with their gig at ITC's 'Artful' event that we had to drag them down to London at the nearest opportunity.
