Element are N. Ireland boys who have been making waves with their ferocious popcore sound, including a support slot with Muse at some enormodome or other. 'This. Is. Staggering... Running around like the Mars Volta crossed with the Foo Fighters' gushed Planet Sound (Teletext) of the band's first demo. 'It's all boundless, youthful energy, furious splenetic riffage and impassioned vocals. By the end of the set the two guitarists are lying in a heap on the floor drenched in sweat, drained and out of breath. They couldn't have given us any more than this,' panted Across The Line (BBC Radio Ulster).
