Melys
Melys began life in 1997 with the release of debut EP 'Fragile' on Ankst records. Since then they have recorded an incredible 10 Peel sessions, were the Festive 50 winners in 2001 and won 'best Welsh language act' at the 2002 Welsh Music Awards. The band all live together in a rambling country mansion in the Victorian honeymoon village of Betws-y-Coed in the Snowdonia National Park, North Wales. The new album, 'Life's Too Short', is to be released on St. David's day 2005.
