The Workhouse originally formed in 1996 hailing from Cumbria, South Wales, Bolton and Teesside. With a string of singles and compilation appearances on labels such as Bearos, Livid Meerkat, Awkward Silence, Rocket Girl, Slow Noir and Emmas House and returned to Bearos Records for their debut album release, 'The End of the Pier' at the end of 2003.
