Kid Champion have in quick time proved their undoubted promise and popularity, with radio plays by the BBC’s Steve Lamacq and Huw Stephens, as well as a live session performance for the BBC and support slots for artists such as Art Brut and The Libertines’ Gary Powell. What’s more, the band have already been championed by Banquet Records’ Jon Tolley, playing regular shows at his New Slang club night, and the video for “Forgotten What It Feels Like” is a viral hit only a few days after release.
