The Boy Royals
The Boy Royals are a Newport based-band that bring their sound together with a love of iconic British acts, such as The Who and The Jam whilst blending it with the spikier side of britpop. Their attitude and ability to write such anthemic songs has seen the band sharing stages up and down the UK with the likes of Hard-Fi, Lostprophets, Feeder and The View.
The Boy Royals have gained support from numerous BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music DJs, with their previous single ‘Teenage Sky’. Steve Lamacq chose them as his ‘new favourite band’ whilst Huw Stephens selected their single to be his ‘next hype’, as well as inviting them to play one of his select showcase nights.
