Having got his start playing psychedelic folk guitar as part of Scotland's Fence Collective, JS Rafaeli formed the cult anti-folk noiseniks Go Rimbaud, and twee, sugar-pop darlings The Bicycle Thieves, before spending a while playing guitar for The Aliens (EMI), made up of ex-members of The Beta Band.
