Shooting The Moon are four very nice young boyos from South Wales who blend pop and rock sensibilities with indie influences to form a catchy but captivating live sound. Although unashamedly radio-friendly, they offer something entirely different, incorporating punchy guitar hooks and uplifting synth effects with emotive vocals. Their line-up became complete last year when bassist Dan joined existing members James, Mark and Lloyd, allowing the group to explore new territory and further their key lyrical themes of loss, longing and renewed optimism. Shooting the Moon have supported fellow Welsh rockers The Automatic and The Alarm and are set to play more live dates this summer before returning to the studio to record new material.
