Hyperbowl were formed in Sheffield circa 2005 and quickly developed a reputation as a mercurial and exciting live act, laying waste to house parties and dive bars on the student scene. The album ‘In my Ferrari’ was cracked out in a day in Portsmouth before a stint in the Netherlands allowed a rejigged lineup to hone their live skills, along with recording the minor youtube sensation ‘England’ for the 2010 World Cup. The EP, ‘On Another Round’ followed before ‘real life’ heralded a relocation to London. The present line-up of Matt, Chris, Ben and Tim are close friends who love rock. Their goal is to have fun and to entertain: not a novel concept, but someone’s got to do it.
