The Longcut
The Longcut are a Mancunian 3-piece who've released one album and numerous singles and EPs. Now departed from Deltasonic, the band have a new single due on the Melodic label, 'Idiot Check/You Got The Love'. Yes, the latter is a cover of the famous Candi Staton dance classic. Both Phil Jupitus and Steve Lamacq made it their 'single of the week'.
