The Proletarians
The Proletarians are a four-piece indie rock band based in south London/Slough. Formed in 2011, they have built an arsenal of fast-paced tunes such as 'Little Black Dress' and 'Why Can't You Speak to Me?', drawing comparisons to the guitar-led bands of the early 2000s such as Arctic Monkeys, The Strokes and The Libertines. The Proletarians posted a three track demo online in early 2012, and have taken their live show to venues such as the O2 Academy2, Islington and south London's Cavendish Arms. The band plan to hit the studio again in the late spring, and will continue taking their sound to live venues across London and beyond.
