Flying Car Company were formerly known as 'OK'. The Cardiff-based band, now called Flying Car Company, have had an action-packed 2011. There have been great shows at home and away, including massive support slots for Darwin Deez, Andy Burrows and Pete and the Pirates. A highlight performance at Cardiff's Big Weekend alongside Funeral for a Friend and The Feeling has helped the band to break out of the 'scene' audience in Cardiff and gain a larger, teenage fan base. Flying Car Company played their first dates under the new name in Oxford and Cardiff at the end of 2011. Reviewers are likening their sound to early-nineties indie, naming Blur, Supergrass and The Smiths as reference points.
