The Shoestrung cut their teeth squatting a room in an old sweet factory, sharing their morning ablutions with a bevy of transvestite hookers and playing gorgeously sweaty, loud and unhinged rock & roll all over London. They have caught interest from the likes of Jaime Winstone, Kate Moss, BP Fallon and Andrew Loog Oldham, playing gigs in London, Dublin, Spain, New York and Hong Kong with appearances at festivals including Glade, Latitude, Winterwell, CMJ and Secret Garden Party. They supported Southside Johnny & the Asbury Dukes in NYC, the New York Dolls in March, and are growing a fan base from their own night "The Lovers Club" and a mini university tour last month in Leeds, Sheffield, Liverpool & Brighton.
