O'messy Life have gained a reputation as one of Newcastle’s most exhilarating and unquantifiable bands, following three self-released EPs over the last two years which have received widesprad critical acclaim. Drowned In Sound called them a "loose-limbed, meandering, wonderful example of what happens when a band truly doesn’t give a fuck about genres." New single 'Escape Velocity' - out on 17th October - is an enormously infectious slice of rock bounce which harnesses the riotous spirit of Titus Andronicus (a band with whom O’Messy Life have shared a bill) and is one of the catchiest songs you'll hear all year.
