Doug Hayman is an acoustic singer/songwriter who is currently residing in Acton, West London. His finger picking method of playing and soft vocal style creates a mellow melancholic sound that has been likened to acts such as Iron and Wine, Bon Iver, Elliott Smith and Nick Drake. His broad range of musical influences from '90s shoegaze bands including My Bloody Valentine, The Jesus And Mary Chain to post-rock acts like Mono, Explosions In The Sky, are apparent in the instrumentation on his debut album where he also performs bass, lead guitar, piano, drums and features viola. Having already supported big acts including Athelete, Guillemots and The Bees, Doug's debut album 'Where We Don't Belong' due for release later this year.
